Texture Stone
For its natural and varying finish and colours, this blends nicely with almost any style of pool, home or existing tiles.
Granite
Also for its natural look, but with a more even colour throughout and a harder wearing surface. Granite is also available in a variety of shades and has a marvellous sparkle.
Quartz
As one of the strongest natural materials on earth, Quartz tiles offer the perfect combination of beauty and durability.
Natural Rock
For a completely natural lagoon style, this looks great used for the entire coping or just for small feature sections.
Coping is the edge that frames your pool, so it is seen and touched more than almost any other part of it. When choosing a material, it helps to consider:
- How it looks with your home, your paving and any existing tiles.
- How it feels underfoot on a hot day, and when it is wet.
- How hard wearing it needs to be for the way your family uses the pool.
- Whether you want one material for the whole surround, or a feature section around the steps, a spa or a water feature.
Bring photos of your home and outdoor area when we meet, and we can talk through which of the options above suits your pool. Coping and tiling are usually chosen at the same time as the pool interior, so the colours and materials work together. Looking at samples outdoors, in the light of your own backyard, gives the truest idea of how each option will look once the pool is finished.
Because our own personnel lay the coping and tiles, the surrounds are planned and finished by the same family owned business that builds the pool. You deal with one company, from the planning and council application through to pool certification and handover.
Coping and tiling can be part of a new pool build or a
pool renovation, and pairs well with a
tiled pool interior or
mosaic. See our
